Philip Palmer – Chairman
Mr Palmer was appointed as a Director of Cinpart plc (then named Buckland Group plc) on 19th September 1997.
In 1977, Mr Palmer established Healthcare Logistics Ltd to provide logistical services for the pharmaceutical industry. He was responsible for growing the company to 140 employees and achieving annual sales revenue exceeding £6.5 million. During late 1995, 3I Group plc invested £500,000 to further develop the organisation and in February 1997, the business was sold via management buyout for £2.2 million.
Mr Palmer was appointed Chairman of Cinpart plc (then named Buckland Group plc) during January 2007.
Kevin Baker – Executive Director
Mr Baker was appointed as a Director of Cinpart plc on 29th June 2007.
He graduated with a Bachelor of Technology in Industrial Management and Engineering from Massey University (New Zealand) in 1974. Mr Baker has extensive experience in managing and directing companies throughout Thailand, having previously served as Chief Executive of Thai Universal Office Products Ltd from 1997 to 2005, where he also served as a Director.
Prior to working in Thailand, Mr Baker held managerial positions and directorships with a number of New Zealand-based manufacturing companies.
In May 2005, Mr Baker was appointed to the position of General Manager with Derlite Co Ltd in Thailand, where he was confirmed as Managing Director during July 2007.
Mr Baker was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Cinpart plc in December 2007. He is also a director of Buckland (Hong Kong) Ltd.
Christopher Foster - Executive Director
Mr Foster was appointed as a Director of Cinpart plc on 29th June 2007.
He previously served as a founding Director of Chase Corporation plc. In 1985, Chase Corporation plc was responsible for an extensive acquisition programme, which centred on the purchase of five publicly-listed companies. These assets were subsequently acquired by Trafalgar House plc for £197 million in 1987, where Mr Foster was retained as a financial adviser.
He became a Director of Wiggins Group plc in 1993, where Mr Foster held Board responsibility for corporate activities and investor relations, until his resignation during March 2005.
Mr Foster currently serves as a Director of Alpha Prospects plc, which is listed on the PLUS market. He is also a director of Buckland (Hong Kong) Ltd.
